whoops - moved to pycharm forum
I feel like i must be doing something wrong but I can't make sense of it.
i have a Django project with a structure with various apps.
DjangoRoot/ (settings, manage, main urls, etc)
from there I have a subdir with multiple apps
sp/
each app like
company/models.py
company/views.py
...etc
so a full path would be
sp.company.models.Company
if in any of my apps i have:
import sp
whenever i reference
sp.company.models.Company(...create new object...)
Pycharm can't make sense of it. it underlines the first company as Cannot find reference. it doesn't do code completion/suggestion on any part of the statement. even typing sp. brings up nothing.
the code will execute just fine tho.
what is the trick to get pycharm to see this? I have to do this high level import to avoid circular references.
thanks

It's not complicated. Build-scripts work in ant environment, not in MPS environment, so it does not make any difference what is available in MPS. Information about module jars location has to be specified inside of the scripts to compile the code.
Its a responsibility of a plugin developer to package whatever he finds suitable to package into a plugin archive.

Ok, that I have to specify my class and library path is obvious. I do this for example by providing the mps_home variable. But when MPS can get all necessary information from this packaged plugins why can't the build environment do so, too? As far as I see I can't hand the module.xml to the script. I think most of the necessary informations are stored there.
So creating an own build script for every used plugin is the only way to build my plugin if other plugin developers do not provide their build scripts?

Hi,
How can I change the permission of reporters that he can't change the state of an issue.
Even when he is creating an issue. But I still want that he can see the state of it.
Thanks,

Hello,
You can make State field Private, so it'll be visible only for users with special permissions. For that, navigate to Administration-> Projects -> your project-> Fields tab-> State-> enable Private option.
Please note, that all the rest users except Reporters, should have an "Update issue private fields" permission.
Thank you.

Using YouTrack 3.2.3 (build #2376 [30-Mar-2012 20:36] )
I have a project which is available to assign issues to, but doesn't appear in the administration panel for Projects so I can't assign users to it and so on. Any ideas?

Hello,
You have no admin permissions for this project. Please, check this in Administration-> Users-> your users account-> Permissions view.
If it's the case, then you have to assign an Admin or Project Admin role to your user for a particular project(s).
Thank you.

Hi,
We are planning to adopt youtrack for our scrum team and issues tracking. But before we take a full and final decision, I would like to know if youtrack has any planst to introduce direct integration feature to any version control systems. I am familiar that currently you track integrates to any version control through teamcity
Thanks,
Unni

I'm sure a lot of people are interested in this. I know we are, very much so. There are already 18 votes at http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JT-7808
My user "prakashraman" is the admin with the youtrack account.
Not sure what went wrong, but I could not see any projects anymore, and then suddenly, I don't have access to the administration panel anymore.
Please HELP !

ticket: {10003*}
I tried something like this, and it didn't seem to work. I have an issue and in the string-field for "ticket" I have the value "49110 / 49220 / 49281 / 49227".
If I search for "ticket: {*49220*}" I get no results.
If I search for "ticket: {49110*}" I do get an issue in the results.
If I search for "ticket: {*49281}" I get no results.
That means I can only search for issues where the first ticket number is the one I'm after. The "ends with" or "contains" wildcard format doesn't seem to work.
It happens due to the attached by default workflow "jetbrains-youtrack-subtasks". Note, it will be essesialy reduced in the next versions - JT-19647.
I got it, thanks!
Something like this http://www.cnx-software.com/2011/02/04/cross-compiling-python-for-mips-and-arm-platforms/
You know, interpreter need to be prepared for compilation and cross-compilation first. Then you will be able to use this interpreter as other pure python in PyCharm

Same problem for me. Crashes at random times and takes a whole bunch of running processes with it. Guess i'll have to wait till the problem is fixed since it's impossible to work with it. For me at last the problem is not related with Chrome at all. It still crashes deadly without Chrome or any other browser running.
Is there any way to load a model from a source other than JAR files?
I am working on a middleware and now we want to specify non-functional properties. However, we have the architectural model in a XML-based format. We want to define a DSL in MPS but our DSL must reference elements which are in the architecture.
Currently, we have a graphical editor for the architecture and we have a lot of models for different systems.
Instead of extending the editor to accept the new meta-model, I have been thinking in using MPS as editor. However, it depends on the ability of changing MPS to load solutions or models from different sources.

Actually you can load your models anywhere you want, you just need to provide your own custom manager.

+1 to support behave. RubyMine did it very well. I think Pycharm should catch up on this feature. That's very useful for the people who play BDD often.
I don't know if there is a built-in way to do this, but you can just use a recursive template call:
