Hi
I wanted to set up youtrack on my ubuntu server but it does not start properly
I followed the steps on http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTD4/Linux.+YouTrack+JAR+as+a+Service
when i run service youtrack start i get:

Starting youtrack...
"/home/youtrack/standalone/bin/wrapper" "/home/youtrack/standalone/conf/wrapper.conf" wrapper.syslog.ident=youtrack wrapper.pidfile="/home/youtrack/standalone//youtrack.pid" wrapper.daemonize=TRUE

and the service does not start also there is no log in the wrapper.log

Thanks for any help!
Hello Michał Kruk,

Sorry for the delay.
Please clarify, with what permissions do you run this script (with sudo , root, common user account) ? If it's common user account, please, run it under root or with sudo, and back to us with results.

Thank you.
Regards,

Andrey Tigay
YouTrack engineer

i am running this as root, also there is a user setup for youtrack that is used by the init script.
Are there any debug flags for the wrapper? maby this way we would know more

Thanks
